Floritrade has access to a network of buyers in the Northern Hemisphere, as well as vast experience in the supply chain of fresh flowers.
Floritrade have recognised that with the high cost of airfreight, growers and unstable world markets, growers do not want to take the risk of selling on a consignment basis to agents.
Floritrade purchase flowers on an FOB stem basis based on length and variety. Prices are fixed for 3 months and are adjusted quarterly. Annual contracts are signed between specific agronomic services offered by Floritrade free of charge.
